Legacy: Combo decks heavily warping metagame

Legacy's in a decent spot right now, but Combo is definitely having its moment. The big story is how the metagame is warping around it, pushing Aggro strategies down while Orcish Bowmasters continue to dominate discussions.

The numbers back it up. A Final Health Index of 72.6 suggests a fairly stable format, but an Archetype Distribution Score of 87.8 shows a skew. The Player Growth Score at 57.4 is okay, but the Event Growth Score of 85.7 is really solid, showing consistent engagement. The B&R Health Score is a respectable 75, so recent changes may have helped a bit.

Looking at the Top 10, Dimir Tempo (7%) and UR Aggro (6%) are leading the pack, but Dragon Stompy (5%) is right behind, and Death & Taxes (2%) is hanging in there. The real kicker is the Super-Archetype breakdown: Combo clocks in at a massive 56.6%, way up from the historical 5-year average of 40%. Aggro, meanwhile, has dropped significantly, and Control's basically flat. This means you need to be prepared for some degenerate strategies, and fast.
